I am a tech lady. There are some of us around but is seems a lonely world sometimes when I am out with my friends. They are more into family, fashion and all that girl stuff. Me, I talk about blogging and websites and my new toy that allows me to play all the music off of my network drive on my home theater system in my living room. I love walking around Best Buy and Circuit City seeing what's new in the world of technology. I would love a 42" 1080p HDTV and a dvd player that plays both HD and Blu-ray disks.
If I had the money I would have both a Windows PC and an Apple Mac. As it stands now my 6 month old Dell PC will not run the premium version of Vista and I'm pretty bummed out by that. I'm going to have to save up for a new computer and pass my old one along to a family member. They love me for that! Then, I want to have a dual monitor system so I can watch Internet TV and videos on one monitor while I work on the other! I don't expect much from my computer...
I spend my days surfing the Internet and finding out about new and interesting sites. I share my finds on my blog, Confessions of an Infomaniac. I found Shoutpost just today and thought I would see what it is all about and set up a blog to try things out. I may end up writing a post about Shoutpost to share with others, especially those looking for a blogging platform that is not only free but ad free. That's a big plus. First, I need to learn how to format my blog template better and see how open Shoutpost is to personalization.
So, that's a little about me. I'll try and share some news about new technology and websites that may be of interest to you while also interjecting some personal touches like recent movies I've enjoyed and current events that catch my interest.
